New Showroom Display at Apuzzo Kitchens

We are very excited to announce that our showroom has recently undergone a huge renovation! If you’ve been to our showroom before, you’ll remember the two images below that were the first two displays on your left as you walked in the front door. Both of those displays were able to be repurposed into two homes in the Hudson Valley. We were able to reuse almost all the materials, which we loved and so did the homeowners (recycling win!).

We envisioned removing the wall separating these two original displays to create one large display. Who knew removing a wall would make the room feel so much bigger & brighter? 😉 Kitchens are continuously growing in size and, now more than ever, are the heart of the home. So, we wanted the space to be large enough that our clients can grasp the actual scale of their kitchen’s footprint and really understand where and how their kitchen items should be stored. More on that later!

After we removed the wall, the next step was new flooring. There were a total of four different types of flooring dividing up the front showroom display area before. We removed all the existing flooring and worked with our friends over at Rosendale Flooring to install the same material throughout the entire front display area. We used engineered oak hardwood with a light stain which allowed the space to feel light and bright, while still feeling warm & inviting. Having one cohesive floor throughout really helped make the space feel larger, more cohesive and less busy.

Once the electric & sheetrock were finished, the next step was installing all of the base cabinetry in the space. All of the cabinetry was sourced from our long-term cabinetry partner Candlelight Cabinetry. We have been working with this company for over 25 years and are extremely happy with the quality of their product.

After the base cabinets were installed and our new beautiful workstation sink from our friends at Security Plumbing & Heating Supply was set in the cabinet, we were ready for paint. We worked with our go-to paint expert to find the perfect wall, ceiling, and trim colors that would work with all the other finishes in the space.

A week later, the paint was dry and our friends over at Allstate Fabrication installed our new porcelain countertops from MSI! Now we were ready for our appliances to enter the space. We worked with Sohns Appliance Center to get some show stopping appliances, our favorite being the 48” gas range from GE Cafe

We could really see our vision coming to life at this point. We installed our counter height wall cabinets & gorgeous custom Stanisci hood and were now ready for our full-height backsplash.

The full-height backsplash really made the space feel grand and luxurious. We love the vein pattern of this porcelain so much that we wanted it to be a large focal point in the space!

We are just about finished putting all the finishing touches on our new display and will be revealing the final product on our Instagram, Facebook, & website over the next upcoming weeks. Be sure to follow us to see the final reveal! We will be sharing all the details of the accessories and finishes that were used in the space on social media. Thank you to all of our valued partners for making this vision a reality. We can’t wait to share this new space with you all!
